By car: Port Henry is 5 hours from NYC and 2 hours from Montreal via the Adirondack Northway (I-87). Vermont is 10 minutes away over the Champlain Bridge. Both campgrounds are on Lake Champlain, in the village of Port Henry. The entrance to Bulwagga Bay is at the southern end of the village, east off Route 22/9N. The entrance to Port Henry's Champ Beach Park is at the northern end – turn east off Route 22/9N onto Dock St. and right at the pier.

By train: Both campgrounds are within walking distance of Port Henry's historic train station, on Amtrak's "Adirondack" line. Linking NYC to Montreal and Washington, D.C., it is considered one of America's most scenic train trips. Arrivals and departures daily. Baggage car will take bicycles.

By boat: Both campgrounds are directly accessible by boat, and moorings are available. There is also a private marina located between the two campgrounds where more sheltered slips and services are offered. Port Henry is the first port north of Whitehall (40 miles away) where travelers can obtain fuel, pumpouts and provisions.
