So whether you're into trophy bass fishing, riding a wave, bird-watching in the bay, or diving to historic shipwrecks, stage your next 'expedition' from Port Henry. There's lots of public parking, too!

History buffs can visit the Iron Center in Port Henry to learn about local railroad and mining lore, or take a self-guided walking tour. Maritime and Revolutionary War stories can be explored at Crown Point State Historic Site, Fort Ticonderoga, and the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. Other nearby historic points of interest are the Penfield Homestead Museum, Ticonderoga Heritage Museum, and the Adirondack History Center.

Into golf? Moriah's scenic nine hole course is one of the oldest in the country; located less than 2 miles from the campground.

Enjoy weekly concerts at the bandstand in Port Henry throughout the summer, theatre in Westport (9 miles), movies in Middlebury, VT (22 miles), and world class sporting events in Lake Placid (44 miles).
