Located on beautiful Lake Champlain, Port Henry provides year-round fishing, facilities, and events to satisfy sporting enthusiasts.

Lake Champlain offers unsurpassed fishing for lake trout, salmon, bass, northern and walleye pike and more. Port Henry's public boat launch and pier, marinas and campgrounds make fishing access easy. Major fishing tournaments are sponsored by Lake Champlain International and Rotary International. Foxwood, BassMasters and additional derbies occur throughout the summer.

In winter, the frozen lake is transformed as ice fishing villages form on the frozen lake. Fishermen pull in pounds of tasty smelt and perch. Fully equipped shanties can be rented locally.
